The Steering Committee for Strategic Planning and Sustainability was established in April 2024 to guide Alfaisal University’s efforts in achieving its goal of ranking among the top 200 universities by 2030. The committee is responsible for developing a comprehensive strategic plan that prioritizes sustainability, enhances research capabilities, and expands PhD programs. Additionally, it identifies the necessary infrastructure and platforms to establish a robust monitoring and evaluation system, ensuring the university remains agile and adaptable to emerging trends. The committee also provides strategic recommendations for the effective execution of the plan while ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and global best practices. To maintain flexibility in the planning process, the committee continuously integrates new sustainability trends, challenges, and opportunities. Moreover, it develops and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress toward strategic objectives, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement in the university’s long-term vision.
